STIFF Licks is a music festival fully integrated with Seattle's True Independent Film Festival. Bands perform their sets at multiple venues around town in with their favorite movies of all time playing on a big screen behind them.

The People's Republic of Komedy fights for the attainment of the immediate aims, for the enforcement of the creative interests of the performing class; but in the movement of the present, they also represent and take care of the future of the Alternative Comedy movement. For this reason, performers and promoters have become a collective to further the aims of the entire People's Republic of Komedy and to spread the word to those who might be entertained.
